Galla Privacy Policy

Galla is an app for shop owners to make bills, keep udhaar (credit) records, track stock, staff and accounts. This page explains what data Galla keeps and why.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email from Google sign-in.
- Your shop's records: what you type into the app, such as bills, customers and their phone numbers, items, stock, expenses, staff and payments. For your customers' and staff's details, your shop decides how they are used; Galla keeps them only to run the app for you.
- Crash reports: when the app crashes, a short technical error message, the app version and your phone's Android version. No bills or customer details are included.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or files. The camera is used only to scan barcodes when you tap Scan, and the pictures are not saved or sent.
Why we use it
Only to run the app for you: to save your shop's records, show them on your phones and your staff's phones, and fix crashes. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share it with anyone, except people you add to your shop (staff, partner, CA) and when the law requires it.
Where it is stored
On our server with Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia (we plan to move it to Mumbai, India), over an encrypted connection. Each shop's records are kept separate from every other shop at the database level. A copy is also kept on your phone so the app works without internet. Backups are taken every night, encrypted, and kept for 30 days. The server keeps a log of requests (time, IP address, page) for 180 days for security, as Indian rules (CERT-In) require. If you delete your account, your name and email are erased at once; bills of a closed shop are kept locked for 6 years because GST law requires it, then removed.

हम क्या रखते हैं
- आपका खाता: Google से आपका नाम और ईमेल।
- दुकान का रिकॉर्ड: जो आप ऐप में डालते हैं — बिल, ग्राहक और उनके फ़ोन नंबर, सामान, स्टॉक, खर्च, स्टाफ, भुगतान।
- क्रैश रिपोर्ट: ऐप बंद होने पर छोटी तकनीकी जानकारी। इसमें कोई बिल या ग्राहक की जानकारी नहीं होती।
हम आपकी लोकेशन, कॉन्टैक्ट, फ़ोटो या फ़ाइलें नहीं लेते। कैमरा सिर्फ़ बारकोड स्कैन के लिए है, फ़ोटो सेव या भेजी नहीं जाती।
इस्तेमाल
सिर्फ़ ऐप चलाने के लिए। हम आपका डेटा बेचते नहीं, विज्ञापन नहीं दिखाते, और किसी को नहीं देते — सिवाय उन लोगों के जिन्हें आप अपनी दुकान में जोड़ते हैं (स्टाफ, पार्टनर, CA), या जब क़ानून माँगे।
कहाँ रखा जाता है
Amazon Web Services के सिडनी, ऑस्ट्रेलिया सर्वर पर (आगे मुंबई, भारत ले जाने की योजना है), सुरक्षित कनेक्शन से। हर दुकान का रिकॉर्ड अलग रहता है। रोज़ रात बैकअप, 30 दिन तक।
